Just in time for hot girl summer ⛱: a set of icons drawn as neon signs, then animated to flicker on one by one, the way a sign buzzes to life at dusk.

The set is everything summer is made of: a flamingo, palm tree, pizza slice, cocktail, ice cream, platform sandals, lipstick, and a skull and a cigarette for the after-hours crowd. Each icon is a single line, drawn so it could plausibly be bent from real glass tubing, in hot pink, coral, and white on black.

Illustration and animation by me. After Effects.
